A/V-Video Equipment Rentals
Equipment Issues - We
generally try to setup larger orders a day in advance to give
you the opportunity to test the equipment and to work out any
bugs.
Equipment Setup - We prefer to
setup all the equipment at the time of delivery versus just
dropping it off. Most problems occur during setup and it is
easier for us to solve any problems while on site than over the
phone at a later time.
Computer Rentals
Classroom Training - For
classroom setups please fax us a brief layout of how the
computers are to be laid out, especially if the setup is in a
hotel or the end user will not be present at the time of
delivery. Please have your tables setup in advance with access
to power. If setup is in a hotel -- 24" wide tables are
generally better than the 18" wide tables, but both will work.
Equipment Issues - We
generally try to setup larger orders a day in advance to give
you the opportunity to load your software and to work out any
bugs. Different hardware and software conflicts can occur, so we
ask that you setup any additional software or hardware as soon
as possible to save last minute problems.

Rent-to-Own - Visual
Technologies does not rent-to-own. We are considered a short
term rental company. Generally rentals are for a day to
multi-month. Rentals over six to eight months are usually less
expensive to buy.
Software - It is your
responsibility to install your own software. We generally would
aid you in the first machine if you feel it be helpful. We can
also pre-install your software if sent to us 1 week in advance.
Cost $10.00 per machine per software package.
Used Equipment - Visual
Technologies does not sell computers. On occasion we will sell
old rental units or odd pieces. Check our used/demo link to
inquire.
Video Conferencing
24-7 Availability - VTC
makes its facilities available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A
technician will on hand during your video conference, too. For
planning purposes, it's always a good idea to provide as much
advanced notice as possible when you have plans for a
non-business hours conference.
Cancellation policy - Because
scheduled conferences make our facilities unavailable to other
potential clients, and our services are highly prized, we
reserve the right to impose a fee for scheduled conferences that
are subsequently cancelled. If you need to cancel a conference,
please try to do so more than 24-hours in advance to avoid this
fee.
On-Site Video Conferencing -
We call a video conference in a setting other than our office an
on-site conference. We are happy to set up our equipment on-site
whether you want to conference from your company offices, a
restaurant, hotel, or public meeting facility. ISDN telephone
service is required for our equipment to operate, which will
need to be in place and tested in advance. Please discuss this
option with us before you make plans so we can help make your
on-site conference operate smoothly.
Operator Labor - Our
PictureTel and Polycom video conference systems are very user
friendly, but there are occasions, especially with somewhat more
complex conferences, when you may desire an operator to help
keep your conference moving accurately and smoothly. A qualified
operator is at your disposal for an extra fee.
Reduced rates - Video
conferences that run for 4 hours or more enjoy a lowered hourly
rate. Preferred clients that schedule conferences on a regular
basis also qualify for discounted rates based on firm
commitments. Please inquire about both.
Rooms in Other Cities -
Finding and reserving our room is easy, but how do you locate a
room in another city? It can be a tedious task, but we have
experience and the know-how. VTC can save you the time and
effort and make all the arrangements necessary. Let us help!
