Rockin’ the Red Cross

 Visual Technologies will help support the cause at this year’s Rockin’ the Red Cross Event on April 24^th, 2009. VTC is a constant supporter of the American Red Cross – Onondaga-Oswego Chapter. This music packed event features various company bands showcasing their talent and competing to help raise money to support the Red Cross.

The 4^th Annual Rockin’ the Red Cross event will take place at the Landmark Theatre on April 24^th, 2009 with doors opening at 5pm. The company bands range from Welch Allyn, CXtec, Carrier Corporation, Sensis Corporation, University Hospital and yes, we, Visual Technologies have even participated in past years.

More than any other Red Cross fundraiser, our Rockin’ the Red Cross Battle of the Bands event appeals to a younger audience and a more diverse group of supporters. Music unites us in a way that speeches and platitudes cannot, giving us a chance to draw people closer together. The result is a renewed sense of community, participation and volunteerism.

Each band's sponsorship is $1,250. The funds will be used to promote the event, offset any direct expenses for production, and all remaining proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross, Onondaga-Oswego Chapter.
